Emirates NBD Duo has the higher ongoing modelled value by AED 945 a year on this AED 10,000 monthly budget. This is an estimate using the stated redemption assumptions, not a personal recommendation or guaranteed saving.

A higher estimate does not establish eligibility. Restricted points and miles need a redemption you can use. Benchmark calculated 2026-11-04; product terms retain the review dates below. Negative values show fees exceeding modelled rewards.

Emirates NBD Duo assumptions

Conditional welcome and campaign value included: AED 0. It requires the bank’s new-customer, application-date and spending conditions; it is not a guaranteed payment.

Renewal uses the generic AED 840 tariff conservatively: the current no-fee offer is not verified as permanent. Confirm your issued terms.

Current bank offer: AED 0 annual fee. The standard tariff is AED 840; the ongoing forecast deducts this conservatively because a permanent renewal waiver is not established. Confirm the fee terms issued to you.

Cash redemption model uses AED 0.75 per Plus Point. Electronics-specific earning cannot be isolated in the generic shopping category; approved credit-limit and merchant classifications apply.

Liv Cashback+ assumptions

Conditional welcome and campaign value included: AED 0. It requires the bank’s new-customer, application-date and spending conditions; it is not a guaranteed payment.

Published renewal fee used; unverified discretionary or relationship waivers are excluded.

AED 735 joining charge in year one; AED 735 renewal charge from year two. Unconfirmed joining-fee or subscription waivers are not assumed.

Whole-month earning tiers and the monthly cap are modelled. Cashback is also capped at 4% of the assigned credit limit. An omitted limit assumes it covers the monthly budget; early repayments do not reset the cap. School fees are conservatively treated as low-rate bill payments. Redemption requires at least 500 points; the points-to-cash minimum is not inferred. Estimate assumes eligible general retail in each bank processing month. Travel, airline, agency, transport, taxi, toll, freight and other listed MCCs can earn only 0.1%. Merchant settlement and bank processing can move a purchase into another month; that month’s tiers and caps apply. School Fees at 0.1% remains an explicit conservative assumption, not a verified education-MCC rate. App bill-payment eligibility requires channel-specific checks.
