Utility bill-payment rewards are unresolved: the bank lists reduced utility categories but also excludes bill payments without establishing a direct-merchant exception. This conservative forecast excludes the rewards, while bill spending still counts toward the published qualifying-spend gate. This is a modelling assumption, not a bank-confirmed exclusion of every utility transaction.

This conservative forecast excludes the rewards, while bill spending still counts toward the published qualifying-spend gate. Perks and exclusions

  • Lounges: Four complimentary visits to 25+ participating lounges through Mastercard Travel Pass; the reset period is not established in the reviewed product page. Register before travel and present the app QR code; each supplementary holder registers separately. The first visit has a qualifying-spend exception. Subsequent complimentary eligibility requires at least USD 1 equivalent in non-AED spending and lasts three months from that transaction. USD 32 applies when the qualifying international transaction is missing and to guests beyond entitlement. Excess own-visit pricing, pooled versus individual allowance and current entitlement must be checked in the app.
  • Cinema: Buy 1 Get 1 at Reel Cinemas: up to two complimentary tickets per month, offer currently ends 31 December 2026.
  • Free annual membership under the September 2026 VAT-inclusive schedule. Bank FX margin 2.99%; card-network conversion is separate.
  • AED 1,000 minimum monthly purchases to earn; general retail earns 1% below AED 5,000 and 1.25% from AED 5,000. Selected categories, including published utility categories and EU merchants (utility bill entitlement is unresolved), earn 0.75%; cap AED 1,000 monthly, with earning spend limited to credit limit.
  • International model assumes eligible non-EU other retail; EU merchant transactions earn 0.75%.
  • Utility bill-payment rewards are unresolved: the bank lists reduced utility categories but also excludes bill payments without establishing a direct-merchant exception. This conservative forecast excludes the rewards, while bill spending still counts toward the published qualifying-spend gate. This is a modelling assumption, not a bank-confirmed exclusion of every utility transaction.

Perks and exclusions

  • Lounges: Platinum page mentions 25+ regional lounges. World tier travel rules to be confirmed.
  • Cinema: No current offer verified.
  • Official product page salary criterion AED 10,000.
  • Platinum monthly caps: merchant 50/dining 50/snacks 50/other 50; World merchant 100/dining 100/foreign 100/snacks 100; World other retail 1% beyond these caps.
  • April 2026 terms expressly include restaurant MCCs 5811/5812/5814/7011, so QSR belongs in the dining rate; no need to exclude all Dining.
  • Utilities are conservatively zero because government-coded payments are excluded.
  • Monthly period is statement cycle 11th to 10th, not calendar month. Assume steady spending each cycle.
  • Do not sum the separate 50% refreshments benefit into Dining; it refers to cinema/entertainment MCCs 7832/7929/7911.
  • Bank foreign-currency processing margin includes 5% VAT in the displayed percentage. Visa/Mastercard scheme processing and exchange-rate effects can be additional.
  • New LIFE World welcome cashback AED 1,000 requires AED 10,000 qualifying purchases within 60 days of issuance. The model assumes the published new-customer offer applies; confirm it in your issued offer. Excluded financing, instalment, reversal and refund transactions do not count.
