Free for life.

Whole-month earning tiers and the monthly cap are modelled. Cashback is also capped at 2% of the assigned credit limit. An omitted limit assumes it covers the monthly budget; early repayments do not reset the cap. School fees are conservatively treated as low-rate bill payments. Redemption requires at least 500 points; the points-to-cash minimum is not inferred. Estimate assumes eligible general retail in each bank processing month. Travel, airline, agency, transport, taxi, toll, freight and other listed MCCs can earn only 0.1%. Merchant settlement and bank processing can move a purchase into another month; that month’s tiers and caps apply. School Fees at 0.1% remains an explicit conservative assumption, not a verified education-MCC rate. App bill-payment eligibility requires channel-specific checks.

A lighter budget can miss a spending gate; a bill-heavy budget can earn reduced rates. These examples use the same rules as the personal selector.

Perks and exclusions

  • Lounges: Mastercard Travel Pass;25+ regionalnetwork
  • Cinema: VOX 2 tickets/month and 25% F&B
  • The current direct-download KFS states a minimum monthly salary of AED 5,000 for Cashback and AED 15,000 for Cashback+. Older indexed copies can differ.
  • Government, utilities and bill payments earn 0.1%. The monthly cap also depends on the assigned credit limit; cycling that limit does not increase it.
  • January 2026 combined KFS: Cashback and Tamayaz Platinum monthly interest is 3.49%, with a published minimum salary of AED 5,000; Cashback+ and Tamayaz World have 3.25% interest and an AED 15,000 salary criterion. The generic Tamayaz FAQ still states AED 5,000, so World eligibility remains conflicting pending issuer clarification. Approval and other criteria apply.
  • Published nominal Liv foreign-processing bank fee: 1.99%. Mastercard processing is additional (the bank quotes approximately 1.15%), and conversion and applicable tax costs may apply. Exact percentage VAT and foreign-AED scope are not settled. This is not an all-in FX price.
  • Estimate assumes eligible general retail in each bank processing month. Travel, airline, agency, transport, taxi, toll, freight and other listed MCCs can earn only 0.1%.
