Conditional welcome and campaign value included: AED 0. It requires the bank’s new-customer, application-date and spending conditions; it is not a guaranteed payment.

Published renewal fee used; unverified discretionary or relationship waivers are excluded.

Dubai First Cashback assumptions

Conditional welcome and campaign value included: AED 0. It requires the bank’s new-customer, application-date and spending conditions; it is not a guaranteed payment.

Published renewal fee used; unverified discretionary or relationship waivers are excluded.

Standard annual fee AED 399 + 5% VAT = AED 418.95. A current unconditional first-year waiver is unverified, so the forecast charges this fee in year one and on renewal. Confirm any personal waiver in writing.

Aggregate estimate uses current domestic category rates/caps and reduced MCCs. The bank rounds cashback on each transaction to the nearest dirham (amounts below AED 0.50 earn zero); monthly category totals cannot reproduce that rounding. Actual posted cashback may differ. No unverified first-year fee waiver is assumed.

A lighter budget can miss a spending gate; a bill-heavy budget can earn reduced rates. These examples use the same rules as the personal selector.

Perks and exclusions

  • Lounges: Linked Platinum Mastercard programme lists 4 annual visits for UAE-issued cards. USD 1 equivalent international purchase activates 3 calendar months; without it, 1 complimentary visit then pause. Reactivation can take 3-15 days; USD 32 paid option listed. Register primary/supplementary cards separately. Confirm issued app budget, guests and year boundary; bank variation applies.
  • Cinema: VOX regular 2D: first 4 tickets per calendar month across primary/supplementary cards; advertised AED 20 excluding VAT (AED 21 if 5% applies), subject to AED 4,000 spending. Linked PDF conflicts on days/channels and qualification-month alignment; confirm before booking. Excess/unqualified tickets can be recovered at full price in next statement.
  • Current product page and FAB-UDS terms supersede older PDFs advertising 5% online, 3% foreign or AED 200 category caps.
  • The international-spend classification takes precedence over domestic merchant-category acceleration.
  • Use the published merchant rates, exclusions and caps; a single headline percentage does not apply to every purchase.
  • Cashback is capped at AED 1,000 per statement cycle and eligible transactions within the assigned credit limit, in addition to AED 150 category caps. Above-limit transactions do not earn. Category budgets do not establish exact posting or per-transaction nearest-dirham rounding; actual credits can be lower.
  • Published international AED/non-AED purchase bank charge: 2.88% before applicable VAT, plus separate scheme charges. KFS says up to 2.88% and estimates scheme processing at approximately 1.15%. Exact tax, conversion and posted total require confirmation; no fixed all-in rate established.
